Scarf swap starts swimmingly

I sent off my SYNO yarn yesterday at lunch time from Sydney's beautiful GPO. It's a treat for me to have an excuse to visit that building.
Although I chose a more (ahem) economical yarn than the Forbes Forest pattern calls for, I'm hoping my knitter will think the novelty of using Australian yarn compensates for lack of merino fibre or hand-painted luxury...
If that's not enough, I also provided a bit of Sydney in a tea cup as a sort of encouragement for those moments when my knitter wishes she were making something with less bobbles.
